Gresse en Vercors village is set amidst splendid landscapes, at the foot of the Grand-Veymont with a beautiful view of Mont Aiguille, the famous summit of the Vercors mountain ranges.

A family ski station in Isère in the Trièves, Gresse-en-Vercors is also the highest village in the Vercors! At an altitude of 1,200metres, this station offers downhill, Nordic and alpine touring skiing as well as snowshoeing. In winter you can enjoy a variety of snow activities and all year round, outdoor activities, in pure mountain air, and all this only 30 minutes from Grenoble. Definitely a place to recharge!

Downhill skiing in Gresse en vercors

From nursery slopes to play areas, the ski area of Gresse-en-Vercors is family orientated and offers you the opportunity to enjoy downhill skiing. From 1250 meters to 1750 meters in altitude, the slopes await you! 9 green runs, 6 blue runs, 8 red runs, 3 black runs, 3 BoarderCross family runs, and 1 magic carpet lift which allows the youngest skiers to start out gently.

Venir en train et bus :

Gare TGV à Grenoble (trois heures depuis Paris/Gare de Lyon, 1h30 en TER depuis Lyon ou Valence), puis correspondance jusqu’à Monestier de Clermont (13 km de Gresse) et navette bus ensuite (uniquement durant la saison hivernale, les samedis de décembre à mars).

Venir en voiture : 

Accès du Nord : RN 75 direction Sisteron ou autoroute. 40 minutes depuis Grenoble, 2 heures depuis Lyon. A Grenoble, prendre la direction Sisteron par l’A480. Sortie au péage à Monestier de Clermont, puis D8A jusqu’à Gresse en Vercors.

Accès du Sud : autoroute jusqu’à Sisteron puis RN75 direction Grenoble, Veynes, Col de Lus la Croix Haute, Monestier de Clermont, Gresse en Vercors. Ou prendre l’autoroute jusqu’à Montélimar, Die, Clelles (par le col de Menée), Monestier de Clermont, Gresse en Vercors.

La fête de l’alpage à Gresse en Vercors a lieu traditionnellement tous les ans durant le week-end suivant le 15 août. Vous pourrez y voir des démonstrations, des bergers avec leurs troupeaux et chiens de protection, des combats de vaches, des animations et expositions, ainsi qu’un marché de producteurs.

Le village de Gresse en Vercors perché à 1200m d’altitude est le plus haut village du Vercors.

Sommet emblématique du Vercors, plus haut sommet du massif, le Grand-Veymont culmine à 2341m. Il se situe dans la Réserve naturelle des Hauts-Plateaux du Vercors.
