Downhill skiing in Gresse en vercors
From nursery slopes to play areas, the ski area of Gresse-en-Vercors is family orientated and offers you the opportunity to enjoy downhill skiing. From 1250 meters to 1750 meters in altitude, the slopes await you! 9 green runs, 6 blue runs, 8 red runs, 3 black runs, 3 BoarderCross family runs, and 1 magic carpet lift which allows the youngest skiers to start out gently.

The Nordic domain of Gresse en Vercors
For Nordic skiing, you can ski along 48 kilometers of runs (2 green, 1 blue, 3 red, 1 black), between the village itself and the ski station, passing through beautiful nature reserves. Grenoble TGV station (three hours from Paris/Gare de Lyon, 1h30 by TER from Lyon or Valence), then a connection to Monestier de Clermont (13 km from Gresse) and shuttle bus thereafter (only during the winter season, on Saturdays from December to March).
Getting here by car:
From the north: RN 75 towards Sisteron or motorway. 40 minutes from Grenoble, 2 hours from Lyon. In Grenoble, take the A480 towards Sisteron. Exit at the Monestier de Clermont toll booth, then take the D8A to Gresse en Vercors.
From the south: motorway to Sisteron then RN75 towards Grenoble, Veynes, Col de Lus la Croix Haute, Monestier de Clermont, Gresse en Vercors. Or take the motorway to Montélimar, Die, Clelles (via the Col de Menée), Monestier de Clermont, Gresse en Vercors.
The mountain pasture festival in Gresse en Vercors traditionally takes place every year over the weekend following 15 August. There are demonstrations, shepherds with their herds and guard dogs, cow fights, entertainment and exhibitions, as well as a farmers’ market.
The village of Gresse en Vercors, perched at an altitude of 1200m, is the highest village in the Vercors.
