There’s no shortage of water-based sports in the Trièves!

Lake Monteynard-Avignonet offers a multitude of water-based activities: kitesurfing, wingfoil, water skiing, canoeing, wakeboarding, sailing, dinghy sailing, catamaran sailing, paddleboarding, windsurfing… For the more contemplative, you may always take a cruise on the boat La Mira!

From Grenoble, head for Sisteron, then exit at Sinard. From the Trièves, you can reach the shores of the lake via Treffort. The Tourism Information centre at Treffort is open from May to September, and screens free films about the Lake’s dam and the Drac valley daily.

Three sites are on the Lake’s shores at Treffort:

– Near “Camping de la Plage”

– At the “Salette” parking lot

– Near the “Parking des Vignes” parking lot

You can park in one of three parking lots (from north to south):

– Parking de la Plage

– Parking de la Salette

– Parking des Vignes

A 60-space motorhome parking area is located on part of the Salette parking lot.

Please note that access is subject to a charge during the summer months.
