Introduction
Equi'Dira is the dream of Anne, an equestrian tourism instructor, breeder of recreational and colored horses, and coach-educator who emphasizes bonding, respect for horses, and adventure in the great outdoors.
In the heart of Trièves, setting out from the Maison-Ateliers in Cornillon-en-Trièves, you’ll discover the joy of riding through an unspoiled region, surrounded by lush nature and magnificent, varied panoramic views, to the sound of horses’ hooves.
Here, the horses live as a family in wide-open spaces. They are ridden without shoes or bits and are expertly cared for to take you on a journey of discovery through Trièves and its neighboring regions, as you learn to “speak” their language, gain a deeper understanding of them, and rest assured that they are raised and trained with love and respect for all their needs.
What’s on the program:
- Rides ranging from 1 hour to a full day.
- Multi-day trail rides, either as round-trip routes or loop trails, with camping under the stars close to the horses or staying in lodges or hotels...You can bring your own horse, join a group of riders, or ride one of our experienced and reliable horses.
- “Bonding Rides” workshops, recreational riding, and trail rides.
- Riding lessons: one-on-one or in pairs.
During the summer season only, you can rent one of our ponies for a led ride; our year-round herd consists solely of horses (riders must be old enough to stay on the pony, minimum age 8 or 9).
We also offer boarding services during the summer months (similar to vacation boarding), as well as horse training, breaking, and development.
You can have your mare bred to our Elite Irish Cob stallion, a perlino-colored horse (which produces 100% colored foals).
