Les Gachets

The house, located on the edge of the forest, is surrounded by a beautiful garden and terraces offering panoramic views. Walking and hiking trails, horseback riding, and swimming are all nearby.

We have restored the old farmhouse using simple, timeless materials: wood, stone, iron, natural pigments, plaster, whitewash, lime-based tadelakt, hemp, clay, and natural stone floors.
The spaces are heated by wood-burning stoves fueled by logs and pellets, and hot water is provided by solar energy.

We provide our guests with:
- linens
- organic cleaning products
- access to a washing machine
- freezer
- Internet

The accommodations consist of:
- Ground Floor – “Entre les murs”: Ground-floor apartment + kitchen
With an entrance through the winter garden, the ground floor features 3 bedrooms, each equipped with either a double bed (East bedroom), two single beds (North bedroom), or a small double bed and a single bed (South bedroom).
Bathroom, kitchen, living room.
The entire ground floor is available for rent as a self-contained apartment.

- Upstairs – “La Grange”: large loft with 1 or 2 beds + private bathroom + kitchen
Upstairs, the barn features a raised sleeping area for two to four people, a private bathroom, and a small kitchen.
The barn provides 55 m² of floor space for your workshops: tai chi, yoga, painting, dance, singing, writing, music, small seminars…
It features natural light from the north and east, offering a panoramic view stretching from Beaumont to the Parc des Ecrins.

- Upstairs – “L’Atelier”: double bed + private bathroom
The studio has a separate entrance.
This large, spacious room features a double bed and a full bathroom.
Bathed in light and equipped with a stove for the winter, the atelier offers a level of comfort perfect for a peaceful retreat from the world

- The small cottage “Sous Les Arbres”: double bed + private bathroom + kitchen
Just a few steps from the guesthouse, the “little house” is nestled among the foliage, tucked between the trunks of wild trees, beneath the blossoms of plum trees in the spring, and in the shade of the branches during the summer
Facing the mountains, this “tiny house” lets you shower and cook under the stars, and retreat to an intimate and comfortable space
More than just a bedroom, guests have access to:
- Inside: a kitchenette (refrigerator, sink, kettle), a shower stall, a large double bed, and a living area
- Outside: a suspended deck, an outdoor shower, a separate dry toilet, an outdoor kitchen (a stove, a grill), and a terrace
