GR 965 Sur les pas des Huguenots - étape 4 : La Chaudière - Rimon et Savel

::D/A:: Start of the stage at the departmental signpost for pedestrian itineraries at the edge of the village. Follow the Rioux forest track downhill to the left. Long descent with a sharp left-hand bend.

::1:: At the end of the bend and at the start of the climb, take the downhill path on the left. Follow this path, always descending to the left, to the crossroads.

::2:: At the crossroads, follow the track up to the right. Leave the track at the top and follow the right-hand path up to the "Col du Perrier" crossroads post. Here the GR®965 joins the GR®95. At the post, head down the other side to the track below. Turn left. Go straight on at the next crossroads. Post "Gaudichart" crossroads. Follow the winding road towards the village in the distance.

::3:: At the main road, turn left, cross the bridge and take the first road on the right up into the village. Crossroads sign "Saint Benoît en Diois". Enter the village and turn left quickly towards the river "La Roanne".

::4:: Cross the metal bridge and take the path that climbs to the right through the vineyards.
Caution: The GR®95 and GR®965 / GRP Tour du Pays de la Roanne split halfway up the slope and rejoin at Rimon village. The GR®965 and GRP climb steeply up to the Col de Pousterle.

::5:: At the "Pas de Pousterle" crossroads post, turn right onto the ridge path and then join the village of Rimon on the tarmac road.
