Ecotourism in the Trièves

Introduction

Take advantage of the enchanting setting of the Ferme des Guilloux to spend a few nights in the countryside in unusual accommodation made entirely from ecological materials by your host, Marie France Poulat Baurens.

You'll meet some of the enthusiasts of the Route des Savoir-faire. On site, you can visit Marie-France's fine furniture workshop. A 30-minute walk will take you to Le Pot au Noir, an artistic workshop.
Before catching your train back to Monestier de Clermont, spend some time at Poteries et Compagnie, the store and workshop of 2 potters, a beekeeper, a seamstress and a wood turner.

Arrival point/transportation: TER train from Grenoble or Cars Région AURA line T95 from Grenoble-bus station to Monestier de Clermont station. There are 2 ways to reach the accommodation: on foot (30-minute walk) or by shuttle bus from the station (€10).

Lodging : Les Insolites du Vercors, signatory of the Trièves ecotourism charter. Roulotte and cabins, 2 nights minimum.

Visits to the Route des Savoir-Faire: open Tuesdays for Pot au Noir; Tuesdays to Sundays for Poteries et Compagnie.

Tree house : 110 to 130 €/night for 2 pers.
Log cabin : 110 to 130 €/night for 2 pers.

Art furniture workshop visits: €10
Theater and Pottery Tours: free.
