Introduction

Jeremy from Atelier LET has been a blacksmith since 2010. He's passionate about immersing you in the fascinating world of working iron with fire. From knives to ND-de-Paris tools, you'll find plenty of tools to discover in his workshop.

Jérémy is a blacksmith, taillandier and cutler. He is one of only 10 taillandiers in France, and as such qualified as a master craftsman in 2024, having been practicing the craft for nearly 15 years.
Taillanderie is a specific branch of blacksmithing, which involves making cutting tools.
He makes damascus steel, as well as the region's famous "Triévois" knife, and a variety of garden and woodworking tools, including doloires, some of which were forged to restore the framework of Notre-Dame-de-Paris. Using fire as his main tool, he shapes hot metal using high-resilience steels to meet the expectations of amateur and professional gardeners alike.
Through his craft, he creates a "local forge": a place of contact and exchange, in good spirits, which highlights the dimension of the craft in a spirit of ecology and a motto: weaving a link between the work of iron and matter.
With his introductory courses, he'll plunge you into the heart of the material, and you'll never see steel and fire in the same way again!
Jeremy's workshop is also a haven of exchange on the Trièves' iron and steelmaking past. Passionate about metallurgy, Jeremy and his partner Milena will immerse you in the fascinating and astonishing world of working with fire since the Iron Age.
Visit the forge and buy on site by appointment only. In summer, Jeremy and Milena offer a forging demonstration duo: one practises a technique of the trade, while the other explains the process and history of forging in detail.
