Step by step

Start: At the foot of the village of Le Percy, next to the pond, “Le Percy” signpost.

1) Follow the road towards Monestier du Percy in the direction of “Chabulière”. You'll quickly gain height and appreciate the panoramic views.

2) At “Chabulière”, continue towards “Bayard”, heading into the forest on a pretty path.

3) Continue on this path towards “Sous l'Ermitage”.

4) At “Sous l'Ermitage”, turn right to go back and forth to “Chapelle d'Esparron” to discover the hermitage. Climb to the top of the chapel, where you'll find panels explaining the history of the site.

5) Once back at “Sous l'Ermitage”, head for “Refuge d'Esparron” then “Les Champs”.

6) Turn left towards “Bois de Xavier” and begin the descent, following signs for “La Selle”.

7) Continue downhill towards “Les Combes”. Carefully cross the D1075 to reach “Les Chaux”.

8) Reach the center of “Monestier du Percy” and follow the signs for “Le Percy” to reach your starting point.
