Introduction

Total immersion in the Trièves with this 3-day bivouac horse trek. Departing from the Léon Ninette farm in Châtel en Trièves, head for Mens, its market halls and narrow streets, following the paths overlooked by Châtel.

Day 1
Welcome at the Léon Ninette Farm at 8 a.m. over tea or coffee... we make a few introductions, look at the organization that's going to follow, and off we go!
Personal belongings stowed in the trekking trailer.
Allocation of horses and preparation of horses and packs.
Off we go (9h30/10h), first on foot to allow the packs to settle on the horse's back, then off we go for a twenty-kilometer ride through forests and meadows, skirting the Drac river under the eye of Châtel... Snacks in the saddlebags and breaks as the mood takes us (1 to 2 hours depending on the weather).
Arrival at the bivouac between 5 and 6 p.m., followed by care of the horses, installation of the park and camp, solar shower.... Dinner at around 8pm, by the fire, weather permitting.
The bivouac is located in a field, and assistance will bring us the trailers and meals prepared on site in the trail kitchen with a maximum of local and seasonal produce!


Day 2
Breakfast from 7 to 8 a.m., then tidy up the camp, look after the horses, prepare the packs... and off we go again for a 22-kilometer day with magnificent views all day long, snack whenever we want and arrive at the bivouac between 5 and 6 p.m.. Then it's off to look after the horses, set up the park and camp, and enjoy a solar shower until dinner at around 8pm by the fire.
The bivouac is located in a field, and the assistance team brings us the trekking trailer as well as the meals prepared on site in the trekking kitchen with a maximum of local and seasonal produce!

Day 3
Breakfast from 7 to 8 a.m., then camp tidying, horse care, pack preparation... This is a flexible day, meaning that the itinerary will depend on your mood or condition!
From 15 to 25 km to complete our loop...
Arrival between 4 and 5 p.m., followed by tidying up and a little farewell drink...

Ride for riders who are autonomous in all 3 gaits and in preparing their horses.
