Come build your own solar oven and learn tips for successful solar cooking!
We offer a 3-day workshop: "Build Your Own Solar Oven."
On the agenda for the 3-day workshop:
Woodworking, bending offset sheets, experimenting with fine woodworking… and learning how to use the kiln to fire your pieces at home!
You’ll be guided by two instructors through the various stages of the process.
This will be an opportunity to handle traditional tools, create a complex object from recycled materials, and gain more independence in DIY projects.
Each participant (or pair of participants) will leave with their own oven, ready to use!
Bring a packed lunch for the midday meal. Solar cooking and tastings will take place if the weather cooperates!
You may be able to reduce the workshop fee through bartering (contact us).
