Hike description

Introduction

This Randocroquis trail is accessible to everyone, from beginners to experienced sketchers. At each of the 10 stations, with the help of the Randocroqueur, you'll learn how to create your own drawings on the theme of the mountains and local heritage.

Situated at the foot of Grand-Ferrand, this Sentier Randocroquis starts from the village of Tréminis and winds its way up the hillside to magnificent views of the Grand-Ferrand cirque.

Route :
To reach the start, follow signs for "L'Église" and park in the town hall parking lot. Head towards the church, turn left and then immediately right on a path that climbs a few hairpin bends and crosses the cemetery (station 1). Exit through the gate and continue straight ahead through the village and then across the fields. At the edge of the wood (station 2), cross the field and join a hillside path opposite (stations 3, 4 and 5) which descends to a wider path (station 6). Retrace your steps along this path and turn left towards the village of Le Serre. At the church, turn right and cross the bridge (station 7 on the left). Go straight on to the hamlet of La Chenal and take the path that climbs gently up the hill. Follow this path (stations 8 and 9) to the hamlet of Château Méa. Turn right and follow the road back to the start.
