Introduction
This hiking trip will take you from the mythical Mont Aiguille to the southern edge of the Vercors, between Isère and Drôme, skirting impressive rock faces and surveying the Vercors High Plateaux.
If you're looking for peace and quiet off the beaten track, this is the tour for you. You'll discover a wild Vercors, with its many atmospheres, the secrets of its landscapes, its history and the way of life of its wildlife.
Sometimes in forest, sometimes in open country, these trails are designed for hikers capable of putting in a daily effort of around 6 to 8 hours.

The circuit's start and finish points are accessible by public transport: RER train from Grenoble to Clelles-Mens station. In 2024, the Conseil Général de l'Isère is offering an "on-demand" cab service that will take you to the meeting point in 10 minutes, for a maximum charge of €5 per person; book more than 48 hours in advance on 09 69 32 21 41. This service should be maintained in 2025. Otherwise, local cabs can be contacted directly.
