Introduction
The aim of these courses is to gradually lead the student towards autonomy on a known site in calm flying conditions, then towards more generalized autonomy.
These courses can include additional slope school sessions to refine take-off techniques and make up for any shortcomings. The flying sessions will enable you to discover more varied aerological conditions at different sites. More advanced theoretical courses complete the training.
This course does not give access to autonomous flying, so it is necessary to extend the training in order to continue the activity.
Depending on demand and availability, courses are organized on consecutive weekends, if possible. It is also possible to organize "à la carte" training courses of varying duration, from one-day discovery courses to complete individualized courses. Please feel free to browse our schedule, or contact us for further information on our different formulas.
Depending on changing weather conditions and local aerology, the organization of sessions may vary during the course.
Training sessions can be demanding in terms of concentration. In order to be attentive and efficient, days are generally limited to around six hours of instruction. This can be organized over long mornings, for example, to take advantage of calm conditions, or over other time slots to best adapt to the level of the students.
Like any other sport, paragliding requires a minimum level of physical fitness. Instructors advise more sedentary students to do a little training, and warm up to get the most out of their sessions on the ground.
