Step by step
Departure : You start your walk from Place Paul Brachet in the center of Mens village (signposted "Mens Centre"), next to the Mens inn.
1) Head towards "La Croix" up Rue du Breuil, passing the Tourist Office on the right (Rue Louis Rippert). Follow the street for about 500m to the "La Croix" crossroads.
2) From the "La Croix" post, turn right towards "Les Levas". The route follows the Chemin des Philosophes, then climbs gently up a hedged path. At the top of the climb, turn left and follow the path until you come out on the D66 road (signposted "Les Levas").
3) Turn right onto the D66 (be careful!) towards "Beaumet". A hundred metres further on, take the track on the left which descends, then at the next crossroads, take the track on the right to reach the hamlet of Beaumet.
4 - From the "Beaumet" signpost, turn right towards "Pontillard". The route descends gently and leaves the main road to cut through the hairpin bends.
5 - From the "Pontillard" signpost, turn right towards "MENS", following the D526 road for 200m (Careful!). The route climbs up to the right, then skirts the soccer stadium, then the retirement home, before reaching the "MENS" signpost.
6 - Continue straight on towards "MENS CENTRE", up Rue du Pas de l'Aiguille to return to your starting point.
