Boucle de Morges

Start: Park in the parking lot near the Châtel en Trièves town hall in Saint Sébastien (town hall - restaurant - shared garden). The hike starts at the temple.
1) Turn left to find the first yellow directional sign and follow the signs for "Les Frênes".
2) At the "Les Frênes" signpost, continue straight on towards "Les Caravelles". Cross the D66 with care, then follow the signs through the hamlet to the "Les Caravelles" signpost.
3) Continue to the right towards "Sur les Caravelles", climbing up through undergrowth to a beautiful viewpoint over the Trièves.
4) From the "Sur les Caravelles" post, head for "Col de Saint Sébastien", following the downhill track and then the asphalt road.
5) At "Col de Saint Sébastien", take the asphalt road uphill towards "Château Vieux". A little higher up, you'll come to a number of attractive buildings, which you should go around to the right.
6) After the "Château Vieux" sign, continue on a pleasant path that gradually descends until you reach "Le Serre de l'Aigle".
7) Turn right to reach "Col de Laye" a few dozen metres further up.
8) To return to "Saint Sébastien", take the tarmac road to the right, then the path which descends to the left (post with yellow blade indicating Saint Sébastien 0.6km).
9) Cross the hamlet to reach your starting point.
